Another Spring and colorful cake I made some days ago for a birthday party.
  I like this pic where you can actually see how messy my table gets when I’m working, I used a lot of colors so there are as many piping bags and even more decorating tips lying around I decorated it all in buttercream.

  This weekend I made all these little cakes for a boy’s party. I used Nordicware’s train and car pans, the cakes come out as cute train carriages and cars! I used buttercream and different colorful candies to decorate them.

  Don’t be mistaken by these cuties simple look, decorating them is quite time consuming!
  The good thing is that they also look quite nice just out of the pan

  Last year I made a LEGO cake for a boy and this year he wanted me to do exactly the same cake, just a bit smaller. I then recalled I had seen some very cute LEGO cupcakes made by hello naomi and proposed to make LEGO cupcakes instead of the same cake (I confess I also don’t like making the same design twice!).

  These were chocolate-caramel cupcakes and all decorations were made in marzipan. My two boys were crazy about the cupcakes, they also love LEGO!
